Community events
We love to share the joy of Scottish country dancing and welcome opportunities to dance at community events such as fundraisers, fairs, fetes, and celebrations in Brisbane and surrounding areas. We also regularly participate in local Scottish cultural events such as Celtic festivals, Burns Night and Tartan Day. If you’d like our dancers to dance at an event, please contact us at least 4 weeks in advance to discuss .

Information for dancers
If you’re a Scottish Country dancer and can help at any of the events, we’re always looking for volunteers to hand out flyers, answer questions or take part in dancing demonstrations.
Dancers who want to take part in the demonstration can join practice sessions throughout the year, usually on a Sunday afternoon. If you’d like more details about practice sessions, please email secretary@rscdsqld.org.au.
