About RSCDS Queensland
The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) was established in 1923 in Scotland to promote and preserve Scottish country dance and music. It has 160 branches and a further 200 affiliated groups around the world.
The Queensland Branch of the RSCDS was established in 1977 and we will celebrate our golden anniversary in 2027. We are a not-for-profit entity which means that any profit we raise through class fees is used to provide services to our members.
You don’t have to join RSCDS Queensland to dance with us, but we’d love you to become a member. Most importantly, as an RSCDS member you’ll be helping to keep the tradition of Scottish country dancing alive. You’ll also get discounts on local branch classes (those at Spring Hill and Northgate) and branch events (as well as classes and events offered by other branches around the world).
