Come & Dance
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose injected humour and the like.
Allow yourself to be surprised by what Scottish country dancing has to offer you.
You don’t need:
- to be Scottish (there are clubs in countries as diverse as Japan and Ukraine)
- a partner
- special clothes (though you can wear tartan or a kilt if you like)
- special footwear (comfortable flat shoes are fine)
And there are no swords involved (they’re used in highland dancing).
You’ll be warmly welcomed at a class, whatever your age or ability. The cost per class varies for each club but is always very reasonable (around $10 per class).
Where you can do Scottish country dancing
There are many places in Queensland where you can attend weekly Scottish Country dance classes.
